Clickers are widely used in the undergraduate classroom, but are they an effective tool in the organic lecture? The demonstration of Learning Catalytics, a non-clicker feedback system, and how it can be used in an organic chemistry lecture to assess student understanding in real time will be presented. The results of student feedback regarding their use of Learning Catalytics in comparison to clickers will also be discussed.
