The Before-Change-After Table is a cognitive approach to stoichiometry that relies on proportional reasoning, rather than algorithms. Similar to ICE tables used in equilibrium, this helps students keep the problem solving process connected to the balanced chemical equation. This presentation will introduce the BCA Table method for solving mole-mole, mass-mass, and limiting reactant stoichiometry problems.
