This presentation will provide an overview of programs administered by the Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) at the National Science Foundation (NSF) that support innovative projects that enhance chemistry education, as well as the recruitment and retention of STEM majors. Material will be presented regarding programs such as Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE), NSF Scholarships in STEM (S-STEM), Advanced Technological Education (ATE), Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU), EHR Core Research (ECR) and CAREER. Information to be shared includes overall funding rates for proposals submitted to DUE and specific program components such as goals and intended outcomes, possible budget considerations and institution type.
