In order to make the organic chemistry classroom more engaged, we have previously tried computer assisted assessment. Since then, we have incorporated a flipped classroom concept that requires students to plan and prepare before each class meeting by asking questions, working on problems, and participating in discussions in order to master the concept. Our flipped model will be presented with examples that discuss the lessons learned after one year of flipping.
